CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – After defeating 8-seed Louisville in dominant fashion in the ACC Quarterfinals, the No. 1 Boston College women's lacrosse team is set to take on 4-seed Syracuse for the first game of the semifinals. First draw is set for Friday, April 26 at 5:00 pm at Alumni Stadium.
The unsung heroes for the Eagles stepped into the spotlight en route to the back-to-back wins over Louisville, as Cara Urbank led all point-scorers with a hat trick and three helpers. Sophomore Jordan Lappin recorded her third career hat trick to follow right behind as juniors Sheila Rietano and Kate Taylor each added a pair of goals in the effort.
