BOSTON – Despite a 7-0 advantage in shots on goal, Boston College played to a scoreless draw with Boston University in non-conference action on Tuesday night at Nickerson Field.
Boston College (2-2-3, 0-1-1 ACC) extended its unbeaten streak in the series against BU to nine games (7-0-2).
The Eagles applied heavy pressure during the second half, including a sequence which led to three consecutive corners. BC had a total of eight corners to BU's one.
Senior co-captain paced the Eagles with six shots, half of which were on target.
Francesco Montali finished the night with seven shots for the Terriers (2-2-3) to preserve his clean sheet.
