CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The 2023 Stanley Cup Final begins on Saturday in Las Vegas and numerous player and front office connections link Boston College with the Eastern Conference champion Florida Panthers.
Four former Eagles – forwards Colin White and Patrick Giles, defenseman Casey Fitzgerald, and goaltender Spencer Knight – are represented on Florida's roster along with assistant general manager Brett Peterson, who won a national championship on the Heights in 2001.
In his first season with the Panthers, White skated in 68 games during the regular season with eight goals and seven assists for 15 points.
