Eagles Advance to Quarterfinals with Win

NEWTON, Mass. - The Boston College women's lacrosse team advanced to the NCAA Quarterfinals on Sunday afternoon with a 13-8 win over Denver at the Newton Campus Lacrosse and Soccer Field.

Boston College will face No. 6 seed Loyola Maryland on Thursday at Newton Campus Lacrosse and Soccer Field. The Greyhounds earned an 18-8 victory over James Madison in their opening round game on Sunday.

Charlotte North was one of three Eagles who scored at least three goals as she totaled a game-high four scores in the win. After giving BC a 1-0 lead early in the contest, she broke the NCAA's all-time goals record, surpassing Courtney Murphy (Stony Brook).
