Comeback Falls Short for No. 4 Eagles in ACC Semifinal

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – The No. 4 Boston College lacrosse team fell to No. 3 Syracuse, 19-17, on Friday, April 30 at Dorrance Field in the ACC Semifinal.

The 36 goals between the teams matches the most in a game in ACC Championship history. The record of 36 originally was set in a 19-17 overtime win for Maryland over North Carolina in the 1999 semifinals.

Charlotte North led BC with six goals and one assist on the day, while also adding 10 draw controls. Belle Smith scored five goals and also had an assist, while Cara Urbank had two goals and three assists.
