Both teams always have the Battle of Comm Ave. circled on their respective calendars as Boston University makes its way down the green line for a Friday night puck drop at Kelley Rink. Not only does Friday's fray mark the 275th installment of the Green Line Rivalry, the 2017-18 season is the centennial season in which these two adversaries first met. BC and BU first met on Feb. 6, 1918 as part of Boston College's first-ever varsity hockey season. The Eagles skated to a 3-1 victory. Last year, Boston College and Boston University met on the ice four times and the Terriers came away with three of those decisions.
