Clemson Survives Late Eagles Rally to Advance in ACC Championship

Box Score DURHAM, N.C. – No. 8 Clemson (41-17) survived a ninth inning rally to defeat No. 20 Boston College 4-1 in the second game of Pool C competition in the ACC Championship to advance to the ACC Semifinal on Saturday.

Clemson opened the scoring in the bottom of the first on a two-run home run from Caden Grice. The Tigers added to their lead in the second on a one-out double from Jack Crighton.

John West relieved Chris Flynn (Naugatuck, Conn.) after two innings of work, and West began his day with a 1-2-3 third inning.
