CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Former Boston College golfer Christian Cavaliere earned a spot in the field of the 123rd U.S. Open, held June 15-18 at the Los Angeles Country Club.
The 2020 graduate of Boston College was one of four golfers to advance through the final qualifying round held on Monday, June 5 at the Canoe Brook C.C. in Summit, N.J. Cavaliere was 6-under par for the 36 holes of competition in the qualifier, carding a 67 (-4) on Canoe Brook's north course and a 69 (-2) on the south course.
Cavaliere closed the first round of Monday's qualifier strong, posting six birdies and two pars on the back nine on the north course.
