CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – The Boston College women's hockey team and Vermont Catamounts battled to a 2-2 tie on Saturday afternoon at Kelley Rink. scored two goals while finished with 30 saves.
Belinskas put BC up 1-0 seven minutes into the first period and then gave the Eagles a 2-0 lead with her fifth goal of the weekend early in the second period. The Catamounts scored late in the middle frame, though, and found the equalizer six minutes into the third to even things up. Neither team found the back of the net in overtime.
Vermont had the 32-23 lead in shots on goal while both teams went 0-for-3 on the power play.
