Burke Powers Eagles Past No. 15 UMass 4-2 at Fenway Park

BOSTON – Boxborough native Cam Burke scored his first two goals in a Boston College sweater, powering the Eagles to a 4-2 victory over No. 15 UMass on Saturday night at Fenway Park. BC improved to 4-1-0 all-time at Fenway, including four straight wins.

Boston College pushed its record to 8-6-4 (5-3-3 HEA) following the non-conference victory and moved to 7-1-0 in its last eight meetings with the Minutemen (9-8-3, 3-6-1 HEA).

In his return from the World Junior Championship, rookie Cutter Gauthier opened the scoring just 2:25 into the night when he fired a shot glove side from the top of the right wing circle to beat Luke Pavicich.
