NEWTON, Mass. – The No. 11 Eagles (8-5, 1-3 ACC) got back in the win column on Monday against Brown (4-7, 0-4 IVY), claiming a 4-2 victory.
Peyton Hale and Simone Hefting led the way for the Boston College offense, each recording two goals with Hefting also tallying an assist. Boston College tallied a 22-3 shot advantage, in addition to a 17-2 corner discrepancy.
Brown struck first in the 10th minute of the first quarter to take a 1-0 lead they would hold onto into halftime. The Eagles had a plethora of quality opportunities in the first half, creating 11 shots and five corners, but weren't able to convert.
