CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Behind graduate student Lynn Braakhuis' and junior McKenna Goss' performances on Senior Day on the Heights, Boston College flew to a straight-sets victory over Wake Forest Sunday afternoon in Power Gym.
The Eagles trailed early in the first set, but recovered to edge out an early match advantage with a 25-22 triumph in the opening frame. From there, Boston College powered to another victory in the second set, 25-15, and fended off a late Wake Forest comeback to win the third and final set, 25-20, and the match, 3-0.
Braakhuis and Goss were the kill leaders on the day for the Eagles, with 12 and 11, respectively.
