On Saturday, the Philadelphia Eagles selected Boston College center Drew Kendall in the 5th round of the 2025 NFL Draft, taking him with the 168th overall pick.
Kendall is a Boston College man through-and-through, following in his father’s footsteps who played for BC in the 1990s and was drafted in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. Kendall earned all-ACC first team honors in 2024 and was an important leadership presence on the Boston College offensive line for three seasons. Kendall may struggle to make an immediate impact in the NFL due to his lack of strength compared to other professionals, but he has the grit and determination that any coach will love and we could see him eventually work his way into a starting OL.
