Boston College Women’s Tennis Earns First NCAA Tournament Berth Since 1997

The Boston College women’s tennis team is had to the NCAA Tournament for the first time in 22 years after earning a 16-10 record this season and making it to the second round of the ACC Tournament. The last time BC had 15+ wins was in 2003-04, and the team has been trending upwards in recent years after winning fewer than 10 games a season between 2005 and 2011.

The Eagles are set to face #24 Florida (12-11) in Kansas in the first round of this year’s tournament. The other teams in their region are Denver and #14 Kansas.
