Boston College Women’s Lacrosse Earns Trip to the NCAA Championship Game With Comeback Win Over UNC

The Boston College women’s lacrosse team proved that they are true comeback queens today, fighting back from a 6 goal deficit to defeat UNC 15-14 in double overtime. The Eagles are headed to the NCAA Championship Game for the second year in the row after today’s victory.

The Eagles struggled early in the first half today, going down 6-0 before senior Lauren Daly took over for Abbey Ngai in net and Kenzie Kent scored BC’s first goal 15 minutes into the game. The Eagles kept pushing once they scored their first goal, and ended the half down by just 2 goals.
