The Boston College men’s hockey team officially tied UConn 3-3 Friday evening, but lost in the shootout and therefore didn’t get the extra league point. The Eagles blew a two goal lead late in the third period, giving up the equalizer with a minute remaining in regulation.
Marc McLaughlin got the scoring started midway through the first period, right after a BC power play chance expired and putting the Eagles up 1-0.
