Boston College obliterated tonight, winning 6-1 in South Bend in front of a sold out crowd.
The Eagles got the scoring started early in the game, when Ryan Leonard beat Notre Dame goalie Ryan Bischel with an absolute laser of a shot after an unreal pass from Gabe Perreault. Fowler had some big stops on a penalty kill late in the first — and just as the Fighting Irish were gaining some momentum, Leonard scored his second goal of the game after some pretty passing from the freshman line to put the Eagles up 2-0.
The second period was eventful, to say the least.
