BRIGHTON, Mass. – The No. 11 Boston College Eagles dropped the series finale 6-3 to the Clemson Tigers (28-17,11-10) on Saturday afternoon.
Clemson started the scoring in the opening frame on an RBI single from Billy Amick, who went 3-4 on the day with 2 RBI. The Tigers' starter Caden Grice showed out, throwing eight innings of two-hit ball, striking out nine for his fourth win of the season.
Travis Honeyman broke into the Eagles' hit column in the sixth inning, driving a triple to the 375 mark in left-center. He would score on the ensuing pitch, courtesy of a Joe Vetrano RBI single.
