Boston College Falls 42-21 to No. 19 Syracuse

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. -- Boston College dropped its 2018 regular season finale, 42-21, at home to No. 19 Syracuse.

Boston College struck first, driving 74 yards on 11 plays, capped by a pass from Anthony Brown to tight end Jake Burt for his first career TD reception. All-American running back AJ Dillon tacked on 35 yards on the ground during the drive, which covered 4:14.

Syracuse responded on its next play from scrimmage, as Eric Dungey connected on a 75-yard TD strike to Sean Riley, knotting the game at 7-7 with 3:03 remaining in the first quarter.
