Today, the Boston College Athletic Department is holding the 5th Annual Boston College Cycle for Survival fundraiser. The Eagles run this fundraiser in honor of Lisa Gallup ‘09, daughter of long time Boston College employee and current Senior Associate Athletics Director for Football and Alumni Relations, Barry Gallup.
The event, which began at 7 AM, raises money for rare cancer research at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The Boston College fundraising team, which cycles under the name Team FabuLisa, is hoping to raise $10,000 for the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, a fundraising goal which has been surpassed for three straight years prior to this one.
