CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Senior Boston College lacrosse midfielder Belle Smith was named the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason Midfielder of the Year, as announced today.
Smith was named to the USA Lacrosse Magazine Preseason All-First Team yesterday.
The Westhampton Beach native was named the ACC Midfielder of the Year in 2023, helping the Eagles to an ACC title, a 19-4 record and a sixth straight appearance in the national semifinals and national championship.
Smith was a consensus first-team All-American in 2023, finishing third on the team with 52 goals, while her career-high 31 assists were good for second on the squad.
