Boston College Women’s Hockey pulled out another close win here in the early part of the 2021-2022 campaign, taking their third 2-1 win in as many contests with a victory over the Merrimack Warriors on Saturday afternoon and bringing their record to 3-0-0.
This game played out much the same as the other two games the Eagles have played this season. BC started out as the stronger team and took a 1-0 lead into the locker room after the first period, with freshman Katie Pyne scoring her first career goal on the power play. BC outshot the Warriors 11-6 in the first, and to that point the game had gone about how you’d have expected it to.
