KINGSTON, RI – Boston College swept Rhode Island on Saturday evening, the Eagles won by scores of 25-18, 25-15, and 25-22.
Junior outside hitter Alayna Crabtree (Normal, Ill) led the way for BC with 14 kills, four aces to go along with four digs and a block and was named to the URI Invitational All-Tournament Team. Junior outside hitter Katrina Jensen (Temecula, Calif) had another very solid outing as well as she posted 10 kills and two digs. Jensen was named URI Invitational Tournament MVP, recording 48 total kills, seven total digs, and three total blocks in 11 of a possible 11 sets played in three matches.
