BC on Wrong End of Slugfest

BRIGHTON, Mass. – Offense was on display on Friday night at the Harrington Athletics Village and it was Clemson that came out on top, 16-12, against Boston College. The loss dropped the Eagles to 12-8 overall and 3-7 in the ACC, while the Tigers improved to 10-9 and 4-6.

Despite giving up six runs in the top of the second, BC held an 8-6 lead after the home half. The Eagles plated three runs in the first; beginning with a leadoff-home run from graduate shortstop Brian Dempsey (Potomac, Md.). Down 6-3 in the second, BC rallied for five runs on six hits.
