RALEIGH, N.C. – The Boston College baseball team tallied its first Atlantic Coast Conference victory with an 11-3 victory over No. 22 NC State in final game of the three-game series on Saturday evening at Doak Field at Dail Park in Raleigh, N.C.
Senior RHP Brian Rapp threw seven shutout innings, allowing just two singles – including just one that left the infield – while striking out eight. Redshirt junior Scott Braren tied his career high with three hits while sophomore Jack Cunningham drove in a career-high three runs on the evening.
