CHESTNUT HILL, MASS – Boston College took down Merrimack 2-1 on Wednesday evening. The Eagles go to 17-17 on the season and the Warriors move to 7-16 overall.

It was a bit of a pitcher's duel in this one with only one run scored in the first four innings of the game but Sophomore Abby Dunning was up to the task, she pitched a complete a game, recording a career-high 11 strikeouts and allowing just three hits and one run scored in 24 total at bats.

BC's offense did struggle a bit but they found a way to engineer offense with an impressive 10 total stolen bases as a team, which is good for the most stolen bases by a BC team in a game since 2017 when the Eagles recorded eight against Charlotte.
