CHESTNUT HILL, Mass- Boston College battled Duke in the Eagle's second five setter of the season, coming out on top Friday night. Scores of the set were 14-25, 25-21, 25-16, 14-25, and 15-13.
Duke opened set one fast, taking a 8-3 lead. The Eagles hit .026 tallying 8 kills, and the Blue Devils hit .400 adding 16 kills.
The Blue Devils carried the momentum from the first set going on a 5-0 run to open set two. The Eagles responded with a 6-0 run led by Julia Haggerty and Halle Schroder with two blocks a piece.
