CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-- Boston College Softball defeated Holy Cross with a 3-2 victory at the Harrington Athletics Village, Friday night. The Eagles had 6 hits on 23 at bats, including 2 RBI from Maycee Hilt.
The Eagles got the momentum going late in the fourth inning with runners on first and second. Hilt hit a double bringing home both runners. The Eagles continued to score in the fifth off of a Nicole Giery double bringing Hannah Slike through home plate.
The Crusaders were able to respond in the sixth adding two runs, but were unable to close the gap.
