BC Blasts Past Pepperdine

MALIBU, Calif. – The Boston College baseball team used an eight-run fourth inning to power past Pepperdine, 18-6, and claim the series at Eddy D. Field Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Eagles open the season 2-1, while the Waves move on at 1-2.

After surrendering a 4-0 lead over two innings, BC trailed 5-4 at the start of the fourth before senior center fielder Barry Walsh (Sterling, Mass.) tied the game with a home run to center.
