CORAL GABLES -- The Boston College baseball team's season finale was washed out at Miami's Mark Light Field on Saturday afternoon. The Eagles finished the 2018 season at 17-32 overall and 7-22 in the ACC.
BC led the contest 4-3 in the bottom of the third when the game hit a rain delay that lasted 2:14 until the game was finally called off.
On the mound, senior right-hander Brian Rapp made his final appearance as an Eagle in the start. The game also marked the end of the careers of Rapp's fellow graduates Mitch Bigras, Scott Braren, Anthony Maselli, Jake Palomaki and Brendan Spagnuolo.
