NEWTON, Mass. - For the fifth straight season, the Boston College lacrosse team is headed to the NCAA Semifinals after a 20-13 victory over No. 6 Loyola Maryland on Thursday afternoon in Newton.
The Eagles will face No. 2 Maryland next Friday, May 27 in Baltimore, Md. at the Homewood Field hosted by Johns Hopkins.
It was a high-scoring affair in which both teams combined for 33 goals, while the Eagles reached the 20-score mark for the sixth time this season. The win gives BC it's 10th straight win at Newton when hosting the NCAA Tournament.
