GREENSBORO, N.C. – For the second consecutive year, Boston College senior Sam Apuzzo has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year while teammates Elizabeth Miller and Dempsey Arsenault join Apuzzo on the All-ACC Academic Team, as announced Thursday by the league office. This is the third consecutive year that Miller, Arsenault and Apuzzo have been named to the All-ACC Academic Team.
Miller, four-year starter for the Eagles, was a two-time Tewaaraton nominee and a three-time All-America selection over her career. She headed the defense while balancing a key role on the draw circle, winning control of 79 draws over the season.
