CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Reigning recipient Sam Apuzzo is joined by classmate Dempsey Arsenault as two of the four finalists for the 2019 Honda Award for Lacrosse, given annually to the top female athlete in her respective sport.
After receiving the honor last year, Apuzzo had another standout season in her collegiate finale, putting up 94 goals and 30 assists for 124 points on the year and earning her second straight ACC Attacker of the Year title. She also led the Eagles to become the first-ever team to surpass 400 draw wins, winning a program record 191 herself over the season.
