Three weeks ago, BC fans welcomed Andre Williams back to Alumni Stadium. Today, BC’s former star running back and Heisman Trophy finalist was welcomed once more, this time into Vince McMahon’s rebooted XFL as a member of the Houston Roughnecks.
BC fans had little to no reason to pay attention to Vince McMahon’s XFL 2.0 this February when its inaugural season begins. Now Eagles fans have at least a reason to be interested.
The XFL, in a unique twist, organized their draft into five phases, Skill Positions (QB, RB, WR, TE), Offensive Linemen (Guard, Center, and Tackle), Defensive Front Seven (DL, LB), Defensive Backfield (CB, Nickel back, SS, FS), and Open Draft (all remaining players, kickers, punters, and long snappers).
