FORT MYERS, Fla. – Sophomore threw a gem against Georgetown on Sunday, Feb. 9 in the FGCU Kickoff Classic, no-hitting the Hoyas in seven innings of work.
Anderson posted an incredible stat line, with a career-high 10 strikeouts and no walks. Her only blemish was hitting two batters early in the game.
The Alexandria, Virginia native started off hot, striking out six of the first seven batters she faced and ending the third inning with eight total strikeouts.
In the fifth inning, was walked then reached on a fielding error before laid down a sacrifice bunt to move the runners into scoring position with one out.
