The first Eagle has been selected in the 2021 NHL Entry Draft! Incoming freshman Aiden Hreschuk has been drafted 94th overall by the Carolina Hurricanes. This is a bit lower than many analysts had him projected.
Hreschuk joins BC alumnus David Cotton in the Hurricanes organization.
Hreschuk is a 5’11 defenseman out of Long Beach, California. He has spent the past 2 seasons with the USNTDP. He was an alternate captain for Team USA during last year’s World Junior Championship.
Hreschuk is a defensive defenseman, but he also has the ability to set up plays and has racked up his fair share of assists.
