CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.– The Boston College Softball team held Maine scoreless throughout five innings as BC defeated the Black Bears, 10-0, to improve to 18-8, and 6-0 at home at the Harrington Athletics Village. The Eagles scored 10 runs on nine hits.
Freshman pitcher Addison Jackson dealt her first career no-hitter with the Eagles, walking two Black Bears and striking out five.
The no-hitter is the third of the season for the Eagles program. The last was March 17, 2023, at home against Iona.
A four-run first inning put the Eagles in front.
