AMESBURY, Mass. – Boston College women's hockey freshman Abby Newhook has been named the Hockey East Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Month for November, the league office announced on Thursday.
Newhook finished the month with a team-leading eight points on four goals and four assists. The forward scored two game-winning goals for the Eagles and had three multi-point games in the month, including a two-goal outing in a 2-1 overtime win over Providence on Nov. 13. Newhook fired 23 shots on goal in the month and a plus-four rating.
The St. John's, Newfoundland native has earned three Pro Ambitions Rookie of the Week honors this season, including back-to-back weeks in November.
