BOSTON – The #15 Boston College women's hockey team fell to #5 Northeastern in the Hockey East Tournament semifinal, 3-0, on Wednesday night at Matthews Arena.
The Huskies scored on a fluke bank shot just 47 seconds into the contest. Just after the Eagles had a goal called back late in the middle frame, Northeastern scored another low goal for the 2-0 lead and then added an empty-net goal in the final minute of play.
Boston College ends its season at 20-15-1.
