Watch Bill Walton eat a cupcake, lit candle and all, during an ESPN broadcast

Bill Walton certainly adds color to any game he’s commentating.

On Saturday, the Hall of Famer was alongside his broadcasting partner Dave Pasch for a Pac-12 game between Arizona State and Washington. Walton grabbed a cupcake as he sang ‘Happy Birthday’ to someone who’s name he didn’t know, then Pasch told him to “take a bite out of it while it’s lit.”

Walton did just that.

The former oft-injured star, who won a championship and the Sixth Man of the Year award with the Boston Celtics in 1986, opened wide and chomped down on the lit candle and cupcake.
