The Boston Celtics won their fourth straight game by defeating the Chicago Bulls 115-101 on Monday night at the TD Garden. The Celtics overcame a poor shooting night with strong offensive rebounding and a huge second half from Anfernee Simons.
The win moves the C's into second place in the Eastern Conference standings. Despite shooting just 40% from the field, Boston dominated the offensive glass, grabbing 20 offensive rebounds to Chicago's six, leading to 26 second-chance points.
Anfernee Simons scored all of his game-high 27 points in the second half, including eight 3-pointers, to seal the victory after the Bulls attempted a late comeback.
