TORONTO – Surrounded by a throng of local reporters, after six seasons playing for the Toronto Amir Johnson sat in an unfamiliar spot Wednesday afternoon: the visitor’s locker room at the Air Canada Centre.
“It felt kind of weird flying into the airport, but it felt good at the same time,” Johnson said of his arrival in Toronto with the Celtics’ team plane on Tuesday.
With his road alternate Celtics jersey hanging in the stall behind him Johnson was peppered with a few minutes of questions about his time in Toronto, his love of the community, and why he ended up leaving the Raptors.
