The Garden Report: Are the Celtics deep enough to sit Jayson Tatum?

Brad Stevens searched between Romeo Langford, Semi Ojeleye and Javonte Green to fill the third gap on the wing left by a load management night for Jayson Tatum. The three only managed to unload four shots for eight points, far from the scoring volume Tatum usually provides.

The Celtics heavily rely on Tatum, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown and Kemba Walker for the brunt of their scoring. It’s no surprise why they’re among the all-star candidates. None of its bench players are, and while Enes Kanter is on a tear and Brad Wanamaker steps up periodically, Boston ranks in the bottom five for per-game bench scoring.
