The Boston Celtics season of disappointment has concluded and we face an uncertain future ahead. Much like any given 3rd quarter this season, this summer could go in any number of different directions.
The Celtics could double down on Kyrie Irving and bring in a superstar via trade (at the expense of young players and picks). The Celtics could bid farewell to Irving and re-commit to a slower rebuild. Then there are hundreds of variations between those two extremes.
Everything seems to hinge on Kyrie’s decision but there’s much more to it.
