Shaquille O’Neal is a man of many nicknames: Shaq, Shaq Daddy, Shaq Diesel, The Big Aristotle, and dozens more if Google is to be believed. On Thursday night, revelers at nightclub The Grand got to meet another of O’Neal’s alter-egos: DJ Diesel.
O’Neal did a DJ set at the Seaport hot spot, towering over the crowd thanks in part to organizers raising the DJ equipment more than 15 inches to fit his massive frame, according to a publicist representing The Grand. Over the course of his set, the former Celtics big man waded into the crowd, started chants, and sprayed the audience with a fog cannon.
