Backup guard Demetrius Jackson could be traded or waived as a way for the Boston Celtics to create enough salary cap room to sign Gordon Hayward. Jackson is fully aware of his uncertain future with the Celtics and says he won't let it bother him.
"I'm not sure [if it was because of the roster situation]," Jackson responded to MassLive.com when asked his thoughts about being held out for the last two games in the Salt Lake Summer League. "I just wanted to come out and cheer for my teammates, and just watch the game, and try to help them and try to get better myself.
