Report: Jayson Tatum named to All-Rookie First Team

Shams Charania reported the NBA’s All-Rookie teams on Tuesday that included Boston Celtics wing Jayson Tatum.

NBA All-Rookie teams:

First team: Ben Simmons, Donovan Mitchell, Jayson Tatum, Kyle Kuzma, Lauri Markkanen.

Tatum reportedly was one vote away from joining Ben Simmons and Donovan Mitchell as unanimous members of the All-Rookie First Team.

The third overall pick in the 2017 draft, Tatum stepped up in the absence of the injured Gordon Hayward all season, providing consistent scoring and defensive versatility for the second seeded Celtics.
