Celtics forward Abdel Nader is expected to miss 2-3 months of basketball activities following a right wrist arthroscopy and ulnar osteotomy he underwent last Friday to take care of lingering effects felt from a fracture that occurred back in high school.
And while the team expects him to be fully healthy for training camp this fall, the procedure will force him to miss valuable time players typically use to improve their games over the offseason—including Summer League.
With the emergence of Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, plus the inevitable return of Gordon Hayward next season, Nader will find it even harder to crack the rotation in 2018-19.
