Kemba Walker now has the Boston Celtics as a “stealth suitor” according to Marc Stein. While they are certainly not stealthy any longer, the Celtics are an intriguing option for Walker in free agency.
While the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks have also been linked as a destination (and both quite frankly may make more sense) it’s not the Houdini’s job to assess a fit in blue and white or purple and gold. We want to understand how the Boston Celtics would function with an All-NBA point guard who is team-first.
For Boston fans, it’d be fun to imagine Walker in green.
