ESPN included Neemias Queta among its list of the top-10 NBA players participating in EuroBasket this summer. The Boston Celtics' center earned the 10th spot in those rankings.
Queta is the only player in NBA history from Portugal. The Lisbon native is the frontrunner to start at center for the Celtics this season. As he trains for that opportunity, he's delivering an encouraging showcase overseas.
He played his way onto ESPN's rankings through his production in Portugal's games leading up to EuroBasket next week. Queta is averaging 13.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in exhibition play.
